The extension is designed to work inside the browser, not as a separate cloud storage service for your project files.
If you sign in or use Premium, we may store the minimum account data needed to keep your plan and usage status in sync.
Regular thread exports are triggered from supported ChatGPT pages and handled through your browser session. Export relies on current ChatGPT web APIs and may break if ChatGPT changes.
We do not describe the product as routing your normal thread exports through our own storage first, and this privacy page should not imply that.
